Littleover Community School Clown Fish Mosaic | |||

The children from Littleover Community School came up with some good designs to turn in to a mosaic. The bright colours and flowing forms made this clown fish and anemone design a winner for their mosaic. |

The
finished piece was constructed in two panels, which were then put together
to make one long display piece.
The colour scheme used was as close to Bhasha's design as possible, black, white, orange, blue and purple tiles, with a mid grey grout to show the colours off to best effect. Finished size approx 2000mm long x 400mm high. © Mosaic Maker November 2008 |

The Year 6 children spent a day working on African mosaics. The designs were taken from the children's multi-cultural project. They created three mosaic sections: sleeping lion, plain tree and zebra stripes.  |

| Groundwork Gamesley Creative Signage Project 2008
Working with Mosaic Maker a group of adults created a large mosaic map to be displayed outside, directing visitors and residents to local amenities. As the project progressed community groups, education establishments and the public were invited to help create the artwork, which was unveiled in July 2008. |
